September is almost here, so I thought it would be a good time to look back at those summer resolutions I made in June.
Run a 300 Mile Summer
Unless I do some major work in the next couple of days, I am going to be short on this one. Right now, I am at 210 miles for the summer. While not the exact number, I am okay with it.
Oh lord. So it turns out that I vastly underestimated how much all of my plants would grow. The tomato plant soon took over - it definitely should have been planted in a different container. My basil and oregano plants flourished and I've gotten a ton of use out of these herb plants! My lettuce sadly died while I was away on vacation. Basically, I learned a lot and am counting this one as a success.
Get Better at Sewing
I have only touched my sewing machine three times this summer, and I feel like a huge failure on this. I am determined to spend another sewing weekend soon, maybe once the temperatures drop.
Save for Traveling
I did, and I even got to go on vacation to Europe! Best summer vacation ever. SUCCESS!
Take a Photography Class
Check! Definitely feel better about my DSLR and my photo editing capabilities. I've been trying them out on the blog and on Instagram as well.
So there you have it - trying to ensure that I am held accountable. :)
Have a great weekend!
