I love when furniture pieces can be used for so many different purposes – especially if it was only designed with one real function in mind. For example, a bar cart can actually be used in a myriad of different ways, despite the fact that it was really only created to make serving and storing alcohol a beautiful and easy affair.
In effort to not only showcase this point, but also to provide some much needed photography for a friend/coworker, I decided to take a brand new styling approach to my bar cart and instead use it as a shelving unit for extra office storage.
Here is a closer look at some of the details.
Something I've learned: some of the most eye-catching piece in a home are those that are used creatively. Just because it’s a bar cart, it doesn’t mean that you have to use it as one. Just because it’s a TV stand doesn’t mean that you can't use it as closet storage – you can find out more about that by taking a look at my closet makeover post. Look beyond the intention and shop with the following in mind; how can I make this work for my home and for what I need?
Just in case you are looking for the more traditional styling approach for bar carts, here are my top bar cart styling tips.
Have a great Tuesday!
