The entryway of my apartment unfortunately isn't the most inviting. In fact, since we live in a duplex, the first thing guests have to do is climb a rather steep and curvy staircase - not my favorite. Once you enter the apartment, things can get a bit cramped if we have guests I've been trying to re-imagine my current set up, searching for some inspiration to fill certain gaps that we have now.
Entryway mat - I think these may just have the shortest lifespan of any product - especially when you live in a place like Wisconsin, where the weather, and therefore the level of mud, snow and rain, is always variable and all over the place. We're definitely in need of a new entryway mat, and here is my current favorite.
Coat Rack - We currently have hooks placed by the door, but I am just not sure that it works for the space. It always feels incredibly cluttered whenever we have guests over who also hang their coats. I have found though, that coat racks can be tough to find - they either look incredibly old fashioned or just entirely wrong for the style of our apartment. However, I currently love the coat rack below, which is DIY project from Emily Henderson.
Artwork/Mirror - This space just needs something else on the wall. Hoping to find either a mirror or some fun art work to jazz it up a little bit.
Some Entryway Inspiration
I can totally see Reggie just hanging out on that seat cushion!
Have a great Monday!
