Life Lately: August Edit
For some bittersweet news, I purchased a new DSLR. While it wasn't exactly in the budget, my other one was no longer working and fixing it would have cost nearly just as much as a new one. On the bright side, I now I have my dream camera. I will admit though that this one is a bit more involved than my previous model and I'm still getting the hang of it.
While I don't really need an excuse to take pictures of Reggie, he did make for the perfect model to test out the new camera.
I know it isn't natural light, but seriously, how cute is he? He reminds me of the pokemon Evee. After reading an article from Danielle Moss, I've also been wondering about/looking into getting pet insurance for Mr. Reggie. Do any of you have it? I am thinking it could be a smart move, just in case.
Over the weekend, I went to a bridal shower for my friend Kate and had a lovely time. It was a long drive, but I made the most out of it and visited with my parents too - something I haven't done in a really long time.
I also aimed to declutter when I had some spare time. One of the first stops was the bathroom where I just had way too many beauty products and old samples. Many were actually expired which helped to make the declutter process go more quickly. I'm down to just what's pictured below for beauty supplies - and I doubt that I really even need much more beyond the products below.
Lastly, my boss just told me about this site called Everything But The House. I haven't had a ton of time to go through it, but what I did see, I really liked. "Estate sales re-imagined" is something I can get behind.
