No, this isn't a blog post about neo-conservatism, promise! This post has nothing to do with politics and everything to do with design!
As a writer for a large office furniture retailer, I was lucky enough to be sent to NeoCon this year. So what, exactly, is NeoCon? NeoCon takes place in the Merchandise Mart in Chicago where numerous office furniture brands and designers, such as Herman Miller, Knoll, Steelcase, and HON, showcase their popular products and their latest innovations. Why is it called NeoCon? I honestly am not sure. Google doesn't even seem to know - I suspect I'll have to do some more digging on that one. Anyway, thousands of interior designers, retailers, and other design professionals flock to this conference to see all the different showrooms and all of the new designs and textiles. It's ultimately a very cool experience, and I wanted to share a few photos of particularly gorgeous designs that I saw at the event.
