Welcome to my blog. Here you'll find posts about my home, my knitting projects, and my travels.

Some Beautiful Coasters

Coasters come in all shapes and sizes, and while I recognize their value and need when it comes to protecting furniture, I pretty much always stuck to the DIY or cheap versions. That said, I think it's a pretty powerful thing when a set of coasters catches your eye so much so that you have to have them... I mean, I think it takes a pretty special set of coasters to do just that.

Enter these gold and white beauties that I just couldn't pass up from West Elm. I still had a gift card left over from the holidays so it really was the perfect way to finally use it. As someone who hasn't spent much on coasters before, it was a big step. They are crafted from stone so I'm sure they will last for a very, very long time.

We were also lucky to receive some handcrafted coasters recently as a little gift from my boyfriend's parents - with no reason whatsoever, but I am certainly not complaining. Look at how amazing these coasters are! They were all made by Andy's dad who does a lot of woodworking in his free time. I absolutely love these!

And yes, I am absolutely going to try to convince him to open up his own etsy shop!
Have a great Wednesday!
