Trip to Palm Springs and Joshua Tree

Trip to Palm Springs - A Detailed Palette

First of all, the photo-shoot for work was a huge success. Lots of long days to be sure, but such a great experience with a great team. And being in Palm Springs wasn't too bad either.

We went to some really lovely places for meals - including the Parker, which is just one of the coolest places I have ever seen.

And I mean, how can you not love that orange door.

Speaking of doors, we also found the famous pink door. It's the home of designer Moises Esquenazi - we literally spent twenty minutes searching for it only to find that it was RIGHT next door to the home we were shooting for the photo-shoot - which was quite funny to all of us.

We did have some time before our flight - since we woke up at 5am - to do some last minute exploring and hiking. We visited both Indian Springs and Joshua Tree.

Who wears all black in the desert? That'd be me.

Apparently, the Joshua Trees, pictured above, only grow in this area. I just find that fact really neat. The trees themselves were very cool to see in person - they kind of gave off a Dr. Seuss vibe to me.

All in all, it was a good trip! Have a great Monday!
