Check out what Portland Picks had to say about this illustration of ‘Puggy Warhol’
“We are slightly, um, “involved” with our dog. We take him everywhere, dote on him like a “real” mom, and have a zillion photos of him. Yes, we know—it’s kinda wrong.
But when Morgan Brent Wick—an amazingly clever artist who creates murals and portraits—told us he was doing pet paintings, we totes freaked out! Send him your pet’s photo and enjoy the intricate detail as your own beloved Boo-Boo becomes a bonafide work of art. (Great holiday gifts!)” – PortlandPicks.com.
morgan brent wick also did a lot of motorcycle based illustrations, which you can see some evidence of here:
This was the site that Brent Wick used to sell things such as prints, and t-shirts as well as this was his main brand. As a renowned illustrator and artist in portals;nd it is important to have a brand and an online presence in order to be remembered and build a rapport with other customers and clients. As well as all of this , it just serves as a brilliant way to have an online portfolio for clients in order to show them certain design concepts and products. Maybe a client will look at your portfolio, and go ‘ i want it like that’ and it serves as a way to communicate over design concepts without having to really know about certain design elements.
It can prove very lucrative and useful to have a website in the form of a portfolio just to feel proud about your work, but even to keep a track of where you have been featured in the press and keep a track of links etc!
